What is fulfillment for an online store?
Fulfillment is the complete outsourcing of warehouse logistics for an online store. Instead of renting a warehouse, hiring packers and driving to the post office every day, you hand the entire process to a specialized operator. The operator receives your goods, stores them in an organized system, and when an order comes in — automatically picks, packs and ships via Nova Poshta or another carrier.
For the buyer nothing changes — they receive their parcel as usual. For you everything changes: instead of 6 hours a day on logistics, you spend 8 hours a month reviewing reports.
When should an online store switch to fulfillment?
If you ship more than 30 orders a day and packing takes more than 3 hours — that is the first signal. Other signs: missed Nova Poshta pickups, inventory confusion, returns piling up without processing, and most importantly — you are spending time packing instead of marketing and growing your product range.
In MTP Group's experience, the optimal time to switch is when volume consistently exceeds 50 orders per day. But we also work with stores from 5 orders — a minimum monthly fee applies for them.
How much does fulfillment cost in Ukraine in 2026?
Fulfillment cost consists of three components: shipping (from 18 UAH per order), storage (from 650 UAH per m³ per month) and goods receiving (from 3 UAH per unit). Minimum monthly fee — 5,000 UAH. Per-shipment price decreases with volume: at 200+ orders/day — from 18 UAH, at 50-99 — from 22 UAH.
For comparison: maintaining your own warehouse (rent + salaries + utilities + packing materials) costs at least 40,000-60,000 UAH per month. Fulfillment at the same volumes — from 15,000-25,000 UAH. The difference is money you can invest in advertising and growth.
How to choose a fulfillment operator?
Look for an operator with at least 5 years of experience, their own warehouses (not subleased), integration with your CRM, and most importantly — Nova Poshta partner status. MTP Group is among Nova Poshta's Top 200 clients, which means priority shipping rates, dedicated pickup windows and faster claim resolution. Be sure to visit the warehouse in person or via video call — see the processes live.
What happens after onboarding?
Typical MTP client journey: day 1 — consultation and contract. Day 2 — goods transfer, CRM integration, test shipments. Day 3 — full launch. After that, orders arrive automatically, the warehouse picks and ships, and you check the dashboard once a week. Over 10 years and 150+ clients we have refined this process to perfection — 30 seconds per order, up to 6,000 shipments per day.
